Pipeline Leak Detection

  • Need- Pipeline installation requires a huge investment. Leaks in a pipeline can cause damage to time, money, and precious resources e.g. water, and gas. A leak not detected in time can lead to great losses.

 

  • What we do- We have a range of GPR antennae that can help us in penetrating various depths. The scans of GPR can be used to identify zones of relatively different soil conductivity as surrounding. These scans when closely observed can be useful in localizing the leaks. Apart from GPR, we have different leak detectors specific to this purpose.

 

  • Field work-GPR is run exactly over the utility in which the leak is to be identified and the behaviour of the scan is observed. Other leak detector use noise generated from leaks to detect the extent of the leak.
